Referring to the case of Michael Vick, who was caught up in a dogfighting scandal due to his friends, Telfair asserted that this practice of sharing is not a detriment, and it stems from the understanding that most Black people need help to succeed. The former NBA player maintained that it's a common, and necessary, practice in the sports industry, and should not be scrutinized negatively. However, Vlad drew comparison to LeBron James, who ensures that his friends earn their keep. Telfair didn't reject the idea, suggesting that such financial decisions are personal and circumstantial. The conversation also touched upon the bias in NBA refereeing, with Telfair accusing the referees of favoring superstar players.
