Motor stand vibration testing made simple

When an electric motor is sent out for repair, whether it be to replace the bearings, shaft, windings or a total overhaul, the motor is then put on a stand and tested for acceptable vibration levels. Acceptable levels are influenced by speed, foundation type, and sometimes even customer requirements.
