Gazpacho - Space Cowboy (lyric video)

Our beloved tour manager Bart, foolishly took this upon himself to create lyric videos for our songs to project on the big screen for the release/listening party for the album that was graciously held by and at the Boerderij in Holland.
As we felt they were too good to never show the light of day again, we decided to upload them to our Youtube channel, to be enjoyed for eternity.

As someone asked what the choir on "Space Cowboy" is singing here is the answer to that very good question.
On the album we ended up having them sing randomly generated lines that were supposed to be in the "ancient language of the brain" used before words came into the picture.
The choir is supposed to be the consciousness with its various voices all coming together to warn the protagonist of venturing further towards the Fireworker itself.
This was inspired by this article which is about a nuclear waste site trying to figure out how to scare off any future visitors from entering the cave with the waste.

We wrote the lyrics using the text written in the article but subtly and cleverly changed to fit our purposes and even recorded it (two attempts were made), but ended up not using the final version with lyrics as it sounded too much like a musical or a Meatloaf album which is the opposite of what we were trying for as I am sure you can imagine.

What I have noticed is that after discovering the Space Cowboy, I see it everywhere. From the wonderful dance of the little, very cool ‘Birds of Paradise’ (look it up on Youtube), which proves beyond doubt that if the gals like it, or if he thinks they will, he will do whatever it takes to get their attention. From carrying a switchblade to making prog rock albums (wonder what works best)?

I see it in the way they make car headlights look like angry predators which gets weirder the more you think about it.

Or how we still, after all these years, still try ,and fail, to understand one other because we havent absorbed that there is a conflict in everyone that will remain unresolved, and as a consequence, there will be only a hidden logic to them that you wont get.
