My Daily routine with New Born Chow Chow Puppies

In this Episode of my Chow Chow Vlog, I will be showing you my daily routine with My New Born Puppies.
Each Puppy is weighed daily, this is done to make sure that all puppies are gaining weight. for any of those that aren't, we top them up with a bottle. luckily this wasn't necessary with this litter. (I will be covering bottle feeding in a future episode).
The Puppies wear collars to identify them quickly and easily.

Puppies under 10 days old can not relieve themselves without stimulation, due to this we check at least 4 times a day for those first few weeks. If the Mother id doing it, great, but we still check as she may have missed one. If the Puppies have full tummies and bladders they won't want to feed and will therefore not be gaining weight and could back up.
With those Litters where Mum isn't doing this at all, the Puppies will need to be stimulated by the Breeder more regularly (every 2 hours ideally)

We also give each puppy a full check and wipe down when we Wee & Poo them, this enables us to pick up anything that may need more attention. It also gets the puppies used to be handled regularly.
