[Obsolete] Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows [PC] - Any% Speedrun In 2:55:24

It's been around 2 years now since I wanted to run this. I had problems getting it to run, then I had problems to make it not-lag while recording, but at last, it is done.
The run isn't super optimized, but I reached my goal of sub 3 hours.

Played on version 1.1, using Xbox 360 controller.
PC version in particular has a massive advantage over the console versions, thanks to 60FPS, fast rendering of the city that allows you to swing really fast without the game freezing and some other minor differences.

It was agreed to start the time on first input after the intro cutscene, since you can't skip it. It makes sense not to count time before you can do anything.

Routing the game was overall straightforward. I made sure not to detour too much to take tokens, but I also really wanted to reach level 6 to allow me to perform an additional special attack without the need to charge the special meter.

I'll be honest with you, I have mixed feelings towards this game. While this game has my all-time favorite swing controls (I don't care that webs don't stick to objects), the game slaps in mechanics that kill the flow for me. For example, holding jump while next to a wall makes you attach to it to charge a wall jump that takes you nowhere. This move does nothing but runing my movement. In general, this game is really bad at allowing for precise movement, because EVERYTHING HAS TO BE BIG AND EPIC.
Trust me, if you attempt to run this yourself, you'll often find yourself fighting against the controls to get where you want.
I'm also not a fan of the web-strike mechanic, it renders the need to approach enemies manualy. Problem is, the game *really* wants you to do web strikes all the time.
If not for the amazing swing controls, I'd've hated this game. I still rank 2, USM and - god forbid - 3, above this game for my personal favorites.
