Overview of the Malahit Clone SDR receiver with basic "demo" firmware CW and SSB.

The Chinese clone version of the Russian Malahit SDR receiver shown here with the basic "demo" version firmware which allows continuous coverage from 50KHz to 200MHz. Uprading to the latest firmware which can be done via a PC / USB connection extends the upper frequency coverage to 2GHz albeit with a significant gap between 250 MHz and 400MHz.
There are significant improvements in the functionality of the receiver from the basic version firmware and well worth the modest cost to officially register to then enable free firmware upgrades.
