Hands in Art

Using art from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, this video shows how small changes in images of hands can change the meaning of an art work. Below are the images used and links to more information about them. All of these works were on display when the Philadelphia Museum of Art closed in March, 2020, and will presumably be on display when the museum reopens.
