“Nazi Deutschland 2.0”: Pro-Palestinian activist arrested in Berlin
A pro-Palestinian activist was arrested in Berlin after police stopped him over a pin associated with Palestine solidarity.
During the arrest, he described Germany as “Nazi Deutschland 2.0,” accusing authorities of suppressing pro-Palestinian voices and comparing the treatment of activists to historical persecution of Jews and leftists.
He said it was the third time he had been detained over the same symbol, despite previously recovering the pin through court and prosecutorial decisions.
