The Akoya is also amphibious, with a retractable landing gear and can be equipped with wheel skis which allow it to take off or land from land, snow or ice. The Lisa Akoya has cantilever wings, which can be folded for easy of storage or trailering. The Akoya uses carbon fiber construction, with the metal parts produced from Titanium. Seating is side by side, with dual controls, flaps, and a center mounted throttle, and adjustable rudder pedals. Power is supplied the Rotax 912 ULS or iS engine.
