Building a '78 EVH Frankenstrat Replica with a low budget!

The #1 question I have been asked is "why did I use pinstripe tape instead of painting the thin stripes?". I'll answer this here...because this is the same way Eddie did it. The 1/8" pinstripes were eventually removed after a few tours. You can see evidence of the tape starting to peel in old photographs of Eddie's guitar. He removed all of the pinstripe tape before painting this with the red color. That's why the stripes are no longer visible on the guitar. Thanks for taking time to read this! :)
