A dangerous situation was created after a mechanical excavation crew inadvertently struck and damaged live power-lines on a fuel tank replacement job-site. All mechanical excavation activities on the site were halted and Badger was called in by the General Contractor to prevent further risk to property and personnel.

In order for the General Contractor to accurately assess and repair the damage Badger’s goal was to safely expose buried infrastructure in the area; gas, sanitation, water and power utilities.

Additionally, the Badger Hydrovac unit removed all debris generated by the daylighting activities for disposal at approved dump sites.
