STS-135 Crew Rehearses Final Mission

The crew of STS-135, the final space shuttle mission, rehearsed their launch day process at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida during a Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test that took place June 20 through June 23. Commander Chris Ferguson, Pilot Doug Hurley and Mission Specialists Sandy Magnus and Rex Walheim practiced driving M113 armored escape vehicles, surveyed space shuttle Atlantis up close on the launch pad and worked with the actual tools they will use in orbit.
