Nikon P900 vs P1000: Max Zoom Test - Pier to Pier

Some of you lot still like the #Nikon P900 vs #P1000 Max Zoom comparisons, just to be clear this isn’t necessarily the furthest the cameras can #zoom but instead their comparable maximum zoom (Focal and digital) over a set distance.

This week a we add a little "readable distance" and people watching into the mix to see which camera hold up better on a flat zoom. I was going to make some Pier puns here but apierantly that's frowned upon on the internet these days.

None of this “You should buy this because” and more that you can make your mind up based on your own observations.

Nikon P900 Settings: 1080p 60FPS Auto mode (upscaled in Adobe premiere to 4K)
Nikon P1000 Settings: 4k 30FPS Auto Mode
the up-scaled P900 video, there i no better way to compare these two cameras.
