RECIPE:
➢MEAL 1
Ingredients:
5 peppers, brown rice, lean ground turkey, black beans, onions, garlic, tomato sauce, salt & pepper, italiano seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, grated cheese, oil
1. Cook brown rice
2. Cut tops off peppers (keep tops and chop them up for the stuffing) and lay peppers on parchment pepper and sprinkle inside of peppers with salt & peppers
3. Cut up all other vegetables
4. Put oil in a pot, put in diced onions and garlic
5. Put in garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, italiano seasoning and stir
6. Put in lean ground turkey and let it cook
7. Toss in cut up pepper tops, black beans, cooked brown rice
8. Put in half a can of tomato sauce (add salt and pepper and other seasonings if flavour is bland)
9. Place stuffing in peppers and then sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake at 190C for 10 minutes
10. Place green onions on top
