My Honest Opinion: Stihl HSA 25 in Lawn Care Business

My honest opinion on why I will not be switching to the Stihl HSA 25 hedge trimmer for my business. Our lawn care division of the company uses full size gas burning trimmers to manicure and maintain shrubs, bushes etc.. After attending the 2018 GIE Expo I decided to give these a try. Big thanks to Kevin at Fall River Lawn for loaning us the Stihl HSA 25 to try out.

After 30 to 45 min of use, I was impressed with the weight and ease of use of the Stihl HSA 25. The biggest downfall was the time it takes to trim with these. The Stihl HSA 25 took double the time that a traditional full size trimmer would take me.

I would definitely recommend the Stihl HSA 25 to a home owner or lawn care/landscaping business that is new to trimming/hedging or does a lot of trimming on ornamental or Topiary shrubs.
