Skipton Castle
Skipton Castle in North Yorkshire is an early C12th stone castle and one of the best preserved in England. During the English Civil War is was a Royalist stronghold and capitulated in 1645 after a three-year siege, the last Royalist fortress in northern England. Filmed 22 Feb 2014.
