2023 Katsner Cup with the BajaTR3

We took the BajaTR3 to Road America for the 21st running of the Katsner Cup.
Even with some of it's Baja trim removed the car is a heavy beast weighing 500 lb more then similar cars. That's like having two NFL Linebackers riding shotgun. Certainly felt it on the long steep hills and when rolling on power out of corners. But the car is fun to drive and with some of the tweaks it has become quite predictable.
Gotta say thanks to Lyman in trusting me to drive the car at the limit on some wonderful Tracks (PittRace and Road America) and to Budd & Laurie for making it all possible. With the support of our wives (Lori and Tonya) and friends (Shawn & Tammy) these Races are like little vacations from reality.
Hope to repeat next year at Sonoma Raceway for the 22nd Katsner Cup with a BajaTR3 that has been further lightened and with a different rear end to allow a higher top speed.
