People can now change details such as name, address, and mobile number more easily through online systems. This reduces errors in the system and helps keep the database more accurate. The goal is to ensure that every Aadhaar number in the country reflects a living, verifiable individual with correct information.

For ordinary citizens, this process does not cause any disruption. If a person’s Aadhaar is valid and active, nothing changes for them. Their card will continue to work for all purposes as usual. The removal of outdated Aadhaar numbers is mainly a security measure, making the system safer and more reliable for everyone.
