A Franklin Three Wheeler Clock in Wood
This is my interpretation of Benjamin Franklin's design of a three wheel clock of about 1750.
I have made it a table clock rather than a wall clock, with a compound pendulum, a grasshopper escapement, automatic rewinding via epicyclic maintaining power and a wooden driving chain and it is made of wood. Otherwise it is identical to his design.
