It doesn't get much better than this unless you are one of the workers, that is. Gondang Baru was the most antiquated of Java's many sugar mills and much of the equipment shown was 100 years old, particularly the larger stationary steam engines. This was filmed around 2006 and after some years of suspended operation, I believe it was officially closed around 2016 and is officially a museum although I have no recent information.
