【My process】Building in ComfyUI: IPAdapter plus + OpenPose

GitHub:
ComfyUI_IPAdapter_plus - https://github.com/cubiq/ComfyUI_IPAdapter_plus

*Download IPAdapter_plus from GitHub as a ZIP archive.

1. Open the GitHub repository
2. Click the green "Code" button
3. Select "Download ZIP"
4. Extract the folder into ComfyUI/custom_nodes/
Download the Models (Crucial Step):
IP-Adapter won't work without the specific model files. You need to download them manually:

Hugging Face:

IP-Adapter - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter/tree/main

IP-Adapter-FaceID - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter-FaceID/tree/main
IP-Adapter Models:
1. Download .safetensors files from HuggingFace.
2.Place them in: ComfyUI/models/ipadapter/

*Note: If the "ipadapter" folder doesn't exist, create it manually*

For General Style & Composition (IP-Adapter Plus):

1. Go to IP-Adapter Models and download:

For SD 1.5: ip-adapter-plus_sd15.safetensors - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter/blob/main/models/ip-adapter-plus_sd15.safetensors

For SDXL: ip-adapter-plus_sdxl_vit-h.safetensors - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter/blob/main/sdxl_models/ip-adapter-plus_sdxl_vit-h.safetensors

2. For Realistic Faces (IP-Adapter FaceID):

Go to FaceID Models and download:

For SD 1.5: ip-adapter-faceid-plusv2_sd15.bin - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter-FaceID/blob/main/ip-adapter-faceid-plusv2_sd15.bin

For SDXL: ip-adapter-faceid-plusv2_sdxl.bin - https://huggingface.co/h94/IP-Adapter-FaceID/blob/main/ip-adapter-faceid-plusv2_sdxl.bin
Easy Way (Recommended):
If you have ComfyUI Manager installed, you can download models directly:
1. Open Manager ------- Model Manager

2. Search for CLIP-ViT-H-14-laion2B-s32B-b79K.safetensors and click Install

3. Search for clip-vit-large-patch14-336.bin and click Install.

4. The Manager will automatically place them in the correct folder: ComfyUI/models/clip_vision/
Restart ComfyUI completely to load all new models and nodes.

If you see "Red Nodes" (missing nodes) after restart, make sure the folder in custom_nodes is named exactly ComfyUI_IPAdapter_plus (remove any "-main" suffix).
