Johnny Depp APPROVES He’s Getting Back to Pirates of the Caribbean!

Johnny Depp’s career has suffered a lot after Amber Heard painted him as a wife-beater in front of the whole world. Even the biggest franchise that got famous because of him, kicked him out of the next Pirates of the Caribbean film. Now that Johnny has turned the table, will Disney be casting him back in the film? A former Walt Disney executive believes Johnny Depp could make a return to the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise following his victory in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. While the actor is expected to take a break following the intense trial, he could come back for yet another the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie, after the previous five films that have been released. A studio insider told PEOPLE, “I absolutely believe post-verdict that 'Pirates' is primed for rebooting with Johnny as Captain Jack back on board.” He added, “There is just too much potential box-office treasure for a beloved character deeply embedded in the Disney culture.” He went on to add, “With [producer] Jerry Bruckheime riding high on the massive success of Tom Cruise in 'Top Gun: Maverick', there is huge appetite for bringing back bankable Hollywood stars in massively popular franchises."
