At this year's Appian world, there were several exciting announcements for Digital Trailblazers. Appian continues to invest in their data fabric, allowing low-code developers and process automation to connect to data and applications outside of the Appian ecosystem. They also introduced several gen AI capabilities, including 15 native AI skills, and demonstrated the ability to create requirements using gen AI language capabilities. For those in manufacturing and working on Industrial 4.0, there was a demo of workflow connected to 3D models, and Axiom Space presented how they are using Appian to connect their workflows. Overall, the conference focused on orchestrating change.
