The Last 48 Hours in Hitler's Bunker — April 29–30 1945

April 29 1945. Fifty feet below the burning streets of Berlin Adolf Hitler was getting married. Above him Soviet artillery was destroying what remained of the city he had promised would last a thousand years. He had 31 hours left to live.

This is the complete hour by hour reconstruction of the last 48 hours in the Führerbunker — from the midnight wedding to the final gunshot. Based on the testimonies of survivors including Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge.
