Modern Anti-Semitism in France. 1991 documentary entitled 'Pride and Prejudice: Why Anti-Semitism?'.

In the wake of anti-Semitic attacks such as the rue Copernic synagogue bombing, the Chez Jo Goldenberg restaurant attack and the desecration of the Jewish cemetery at Carpentras, this 1991 documentary considers the causes of modern French anti-Semitism. Areas considered include the Occupation and the policies of Vichy France, anti-Judaism in Catholic doctrine, post-WW2 immigration of Jews and Muslims from North Africa, the emergence of Le Pen's Front National, traditions of anti-Semitic publications, suspicions of dual loyalty going back at least to the Dreyfus Affair, Holocaust denial.
