Exploring the Beaches St. Thomas - Perseverance Bay USVI

This is a hike we did to an old sugar mill near Perseverance Bay on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. After exploring the old sugar mill we hiked down to the beach. The sugar mill as really big and is a lot of fun to explore. But there are lots of plants that will poke and scratch you. You need long pants and shoes for this hike. And the sugar is tucked back off the trail so it takes some exploring to find. When you hike down to the beach it is very rocky. Not really a beach to hang out at. It did look sandy on the East side but we didn't hike over there. But if you are looking for hike to do this one takes about 45 min. to get to the beach and it is pretty steep going back up.
