Steve's top tips to remember:
Adjusting your body position for each climb to balance the grip on both wheels.
Choosing the right tyre and pressure is essential, both for cornering on a descent as well as maintaining rear wheel traction on a climb.
Having the correct cadence upon and approaching a climb makes all the difference.
Using momentum can also be a useful tool for overcoming obstacles on slopes and is a useful way to keep purchase on different terrains.
And finally the correct line choice over lose terrain and slippery sections is critical.
