NEW USCIS FILING FEE INCREASES PUBLISHED: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-129F, I-601, I-601A, N-400, I-589, I-212

To learn more about the new USCIS filing fees that were published today in the Federal Register, watch this video. In November 2019, USCIS announced that it will raise its filing fees on certain applications, including the naturalization, adjustment of status, and asylum applications. The final rules were published on July 31, 2020 and they increase fees by 20 percent (on average). The new fees will go into effect on October 2, 2020. According to USCIS, the new fees removed certain fee exemptions, changes fee waiver requirements, and alters premium processing time limits.
