*Extreme* Closet Clean Out & TRY ON | Getting Rid of 70+ Items | Talking to Myself for Hours (pt. 1)

Enjoy the most random, nonsensical, and chaotic closet clean out + TRY ON :) While I wish there was a little more method to the madness, I just simply did not do that. Part 2 hopefully coming soon where I tackle my closet and get brutal assistance from my friend! I hope this inspires you to clear some old clothes & clutter!

If I were to have to create a 'method to the madness' it would be this below:

1. Pull out EVERYTHING from your drawers
2. Split everything into the following:
- for sure keeping (without trying on)
- for sure getting rid of (if you want you can split into selling, donating, etc.)
- things you need to try on (don't know if you like or if it fits)
- someone else's clothes you need to return (friends/family)
3. Try on things you're uncertain about & make decision
4. Make harsh final decision about anything else uncertain you don't want

Other tips:
- If you haven't worn in 1.5+ years and can't think of something specific/soon to wear it to, get rid of it
- If you don't 100% want but might want one day in the future, give it to your roommate & you can borrow one day (I did this personally)
- If you don't like the way it fits/it doesn't bring comfort or joy, get rid of it
- Get rid of at least 50% of your ex's clothes if not all of them
- Try and pick one or a couple of similar/duplicate items
- Get rid of things until your drawers open/close easily
- Get rid of anything with traumatic/bad memories attached
- Take photos of sentimental/old/too small items you don't want to keep (ie: sports, school, family, organization, or event specific type clothes)
