Satish Kumar is an Indian activist and editor. He has been a Jain monk, nuclear disarmament advocate, pacifist, and is the current editor of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine. Kumar is founder and Director of Programmes of the Schumacher College international centre for ecological studies.
