American Pie by Don McLean Full Band FC #3244

I will probably never be able to enjoy a rock band game that does not have the keyboard part, especially the pro keys. Very disappointed that they have decided against continuing my favorite part, but at least they offered a phenomenal final release. I had been hoping for this song to make it in the game for the entire time I have played rhythm games so for it to be the last piece of DLC that I give a shit about is quite satisfying. Big shout out to Andrew, Brady, Ben, Kyle, Tiff, Mac, Zach, Jay, Jenni, Lance, Gal, Matt, Brendan, Aston, Rufus, and anyone else who tried this prior to this run.

As you see in the video here we had a little bit of drama leading up to the finished product. My chorus four choke was hard to stomach but more so was when Bryce's connection dropped at the very end when it was pretty much down to the guitar and vocals part. These specimen did not give up, instead we kept at it and ended up a happy bunch. Woot.

I just want to say that Travis is frickin savage. I jestingly suggested he try to learn this a few months ago when he was looking for a new song to conquer, and I'm pretty sure at the time of request even he laughed a little. Pretty soon though I learned that Travis doesn't screw around. He learned this over the course of a few weeks, and FCed this a truly absurd number of times, most of which unfortunately coming in solo play. To see this fully realized in full band is nothing short of legendary, and it is one of the absolute greatest Pro Keys accomplishments ever. Major props to this man here.
