BBC 999 Series The great storm of 1987

The great storm of 1987 which happened on 15th - 16th October 1987
There were several people injured and 22 fatalities. Sadly 2 of these were firefighters from Christchurch fire station in Dorset who were responding to an incident. There was estimated to be 2 billion pounds worth of damage at the time.
