I first lived in Doral for two years before moving to North Miami. I would’ve preferred Miami Lakes though. Coral Gables is super nice if you have super nice money! Kendall is a bit of a commute if you have to work down town. Maybe stay away from Little Havana and Little Haiti and Opa Locka. North of Miami-Dade county is Broward county. There are a lot more Black people here. If I moved back to South Florida I’d look into Miramar or Pembroke Pines. The closer you are to the beach, the more expensive it is.
