Join the History Center for An Evening with Cyril Wecht, a fascinating conversation with Pittsburgher and famed pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht, co-author of the new book, “The Life and Deaths of Cyril Wecht: Memoirs of America’s Most Controversial Forensic Pathologist,” on Thursday, March 18, at 7 p.m., on Zoom.
This virtual program, which will be moderated by KDKA-AM radio host Larry Richert and include the book’s co-author Jeff Sewald, will delve into Wecht’s experiences with high-profile cases, such as the deaths of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, JonBenet Ramsey, and more. The program will provide an intimate look at other important cases and moments during a remarkable career that spans six decades.
As described in his memoir, Wecht will also discuss his life in the public eye and his legal battles with determined and powerful authorities, including the Pittsburgh district attorney’s office, the U.S. attorney’s office, and the FBI.
