Is The Mario Movie Actually Good?

Today we sat down and watched the Super Mario Bros. Movie! Just released on DVD and streaming, this second attempt at a mainline Nintendo movie was a smash hit with audiences, but the critics didn’t seem to care. Were they justified with some of their negative reviews? Or is this actually the best movie of all time? Was Jack Black the star of the show with Bowsers’ Peaches song? Are the Minions from Illumination in the movie? Is it consistent with the Mario Lore and easter eggs? And Did Chris Pratt really stomp KOOPAS?!
