Why you don’t have a self-driving car yet: Part Two

We examine the problems remaining before self-driving robocars are deployed widely. What has to happen before you can ride and, much later, own one. In Part Two we cover road citizenship, deploying one town at a time, ownership vs. robotaxi, pick-up and drop-off, public acceptance, trying too hard on safety and more. You might even learn to figure out when you’ll get one.
Apology note: Near the end of the video, the camera focus was off, making my image slightly blurry. As I was on the road when this was discovered, it was not re-shot but you should be able to appreciate the video anyway.
