French Navy Tests HELMA-P Laser Weapon From Horizon Destroyer
The General Directorate of Armaments (DGA), the French Navy and the CILAS company conducted live tests of the "High Energy Laser with Multiple Applications - Power (HELMA-P) laser weapon system to combat drones aboard the Horizon-class air defense frigate Forbin (D620) between June 12 and 14, 2023.
