It is a fact that the children experience milder symptoms from COVID-19. However, it is still an ongoing exploration to understand the rate of transmission from the children to others. A study from South Korea mentions that the children under 10 years of age transmit less, while the older children transmit as much as the adults.

Case fatality rate in children is fortunately very low as well. Compared to some other infections where children seems to be die more than the adults.
