(HD) Oshkosh EAA Airventure 2018, Watching Airplanes, Fighter Jets, Night Airshow, Wall of Fire
Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. A feast for your eyes to see.
Welcome to the show... Takeoffs, landings, airshow highlights
and the Wall of Fire at the end.
I've finally decided to try my hands (no tripod) at making the
switch to UHD/4K filming due to the suggestions of some viewers
to this channel and I like the looks of it so far. What better
place to hopefully usher in a new era for my filming hobby
than at one of the greatest annual aviation events of all time.
For now my footage is going to be 2160p that's
been downgraded to 1080HD since I have some technical aspects
and kinks to work through but I smile at the future for
this channel. Basically the footage will just be clearer
and sharper, and in some cases, closer.
Bear with me as I get used to this new camera... I have
filmed for 6 years using the Sony HX200v/300 cameras and
this new Sony FDR AX-53 camcorder which I have purchased
and heard and seen so many good things about will take
some getting used to even though it's pretty awesome indeed.
It's an upgrade, but it's also a new way of doing things for me.
The other camera still works well so I still will use it for some
videos from time to time for certain situations but I plan to
use this new camera for many videos to come.
Since I don't use a tripod, I have gotten used to a certain way
of holding a camera when filming and so muscle-memory is a big deal.
What you see is a man who knows how fast the action should be
traveling but I still have to get used to a new hand position.
I have decided to invest in a seperate mic for better sound quality
for future videos, btw. Hopefully that will be in the next video.
It's new but I think we're all the better for it.
Hopefully your eyes and ears aren't bleeding
but please check to see if you're still breathing.
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
