#36 | J.A.M.O.N. Jalecki - Underground House Mix

We're Fucking back with the ATX Legends Mix Series with #36!!!

Standing a compelling 6' 7", J.A.M.O.N. was the kind of artist you didnt just see in some club. His whole vibe was a matter of attention. I met the J.A.M. back when I worked at the 1st iteration of "Kingdom" in my 'greener days'. I remember playing some of my first tracks to him off the speaker of my phone. Although I was so young it was nice to have a few nods from who would come to be known as "The Godfather of Austin House." His Voice was a door for me to use my own voice in my music, his singular drive and creative demeanor was an inspiration to any and all who met him and he is; to this day, one of my greatest inspirations I've ever known. From Lanai to Afterhours at Kingdom and everywhere else that was lucky enough to have him play people had no choice but to get down.

This city and it's scene would be nowhere without him, and I think I speak for everyone when I say how much we miss his sound. I've never been more glad to kick off the second half of a series than I am with paying homage to the King of Austin #UndergroundHouse; for he lives in my sound like he should live in each beat of the Austin Underground.

Let it be remembered that no matter what time of day it is, no matter what year it is; forever and ever and always...
