Special Tactics Extreme Cave Rescue
You’ve read about it in the news, seen the videos, heard the rumors- well we brought our good friend OB back on to talk the first-hand experience of one of the most complex rescues in modern history.
The rescue effort involved over 10,000 people including more than 100 divers, scores of rescue workers, representatives from about 100 governmental agencies, 900 police officers, and 2,000 soldiers; and it required ten police helicopters, seven ambulances, more than 700 diving cylinders, and the pumping of more than a billion liters of water from the caves- and OB was right there every step of the way.
OB talks how they responded, interacted with international partners, and helped the overall team to rescue ALL 12 kids and their coach. This is truly one of the most amazing true stories of modern rescue.
As always, we want to thank OB for coming on and sharing his story in The Team Room!!
