Making The Rogue Viking Press With Strongman Jerry Pritchett - Road to the Invitational

Veteran Strongman Jerry Pritchett takes on a new challenge—designing and building the Rogue Viking Press for this year’s Invitational in Scotland. A welder by trade and longtime Rogue collaborator, Jerry helped bring the vision to life from the ground up: sketching the design, modeling and hand-crafting every weld and detail.

The result—two custom-built Viking Presses, one for the men (≈360 lb. in hand) and one for the women (≈225 lb.)—honors the heritage of iconic overhead lifts like the circus dumbbell and Cyr bell while pushing the next generation of athletes to their limits.

Forged from steel and built by one of the sport’s own, this is the story of strength, tradition, and craftsmanship—the making of the Rogue Viking Press.
