ASMR Build TV : Reason for Absence

Hello everyone and welcome to the channel.
For today’s videos, we're not going to build gundam but I just want to share with you guys about my final year project animation video. This is the reason why I hardly making new videos since March 2021. This video is about my architectural project in which I'm trying to create a cultural center building in Puteri Harbour, Johor, Malaysia.

I started the project by doing a site visit and I found that the site lacks local cultural value and a proper public gathering point. Puteri Harbour is a fast developed city with a lot of tall buildings however most of the buildings are built in the contemporary style of architecture with a lack of local identity of the place. The city has been developed really well but unfortunately, the place feels unlively due to a lack of gathering points to connect the community around the place. People tend to be at home and leave the city feels empty and silent.

By proposing a cultural centre, we could solve the issue by providing spaces for a showcase in order to promote and preserve the local culture from loss. Local culture is really important especially for the future generation so they know from where it all begins and didn't repeat the same mistake ever did by people from the past.
