India V Pakistan World Cup Match 1992

India faced Pakistan for the 1st time on the sport's biggest stage. The match was dotted with some impressive performances from Ajay Jadeja and Sachin Tendulkar who scored 46 and 54* respectively to push India's total to 216/7. That Pakistan fell short in their pursuit was largely thanks to Javed Miandad's snail-paced 40 off 110 balls as they kept losing wickets in order to up the ante. One of the highlights of the match was Miandad jumping up and down trying to mimic Kiran More as the stumper kept bugging him with his own choice of words.
