On this river treasure hunt, we find lost Gucci Sunglasses & more!

You never know what you're going to find when treasure hunting, especially when you go scuba diving to hunt for treasure in a river.

On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out to scuba dive the Deschutes River running through The Old Mill District in Bend, Oregon, knowing that it's always a goldmine of treasure in the summer months with 500-1000 people floating the river on inner tubes, kayaks, rafts, stand up paddle boards (SUP) and more.

Not only were a pair of Gucci sunglasses found, there was also a Samsung cell phone, bottles, cans and other river garbage. We even found a hunk of metal history dating back to the early 1900's.

It feels good volunteering our diving time to clean up the local rivers, lakes, and ponds.

Plus, it's always an added bonus when we find items of value on our river treasure hunts. 〽️
