With free-speech conservatives cannot lose. Our arguments make too much sense. Our ideas are rooted in facts, decency and common logic. Without free-speech we will never win again. The leftist ideologues know this all too well. Free-speech and freedom of expression is essential in a free Country. Government should NEVER be allowed to infringe or limit what we can or cannot say, or dictate what we can watch and not watch. This kind of censorship is the very essence behind every authoritarian regime when It comes to destroying democracy and silencing dissidents. How many things have been labelled or censored as “misinformation” simply because it goes against the mainstream leftist narrative?
How many times have the leftist ideologues yelled “hate speech” simply because they disagree with it? This is absolutely ridiculous. This is the very beginning of fascism.
All speech needs to be protected. Nobody is capable of being the gatekeeper of mandating what words are acceptable and what words aren’t. There are existing laws that are already in place that adjudicate against threatening rhetoric or inciting violence against another. We don’t need this. History has shown us that nobody is capable of playing moral arbtrar of language or opinion. That is precisely the reason for the first amendment of the United States Constitution and for the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Free-speech must reign unfettered and free. Let light be the best disinfectant and NOT allow it to be governed by over-bearing, over-reaching draconian government bureaucracy. Let the best ideas and arguments win but we cannot let government muzzle one side. This is the beginning of fascism😡
The United States founding fathers knew all too well what they were doing when they designed the Constitution.
The First Amendment protects freedom of speech. The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to protect that first amendment along with all the other remaining freedoms.
