Northern Saw Whet Owl

My wife’s eagle eye spotted this Northern Saw Whet owl in one of our ash trees in July 2016. He was about ten to twelve feet up in the tree. In the sixteen years since we purchased the property, this is only the second time we’ve had the good fortune to see one of these owls. The owl was good enough to allow us to take a video, and seemed a bit intrigued by the entire process.
