Jessica Chastain is a gifted movie star who can be seen on stage, in movies as well as television. She was born in 1977 and since early age she knew she would be a part of the filmmaking industry. The mother Jerri was a chef and an owner of a restaurant. Currently, she owns a Seed on the Go food truck that specializes in vegan dishes. She gave birth to a stellar daughter at 16 and at 19 she was already a mom to two kids. After Monasterio, Jerri married Michael Hastey.

Michael is a stepfather to the celebrity. He is a fireman. According to the actress, he is her real dad, as he made her feel secure and safe.

The movie star had a sister named Juliet, who was welcomed in 1978. She was a poet, a songwriter and a drummer. She suffered from drug addiction and committed a suicide in 2003, aged 20. It was a big loss for all family members.

The family also includes a maternal half-brother Will, who is a military man.

From her biological father’s side, there is a half-sister Nicole, who was welcomed in circa 1981. She is interested in astrology and runs Monasterio Sound Healing Center. As for her personal life, she is lesbian and lives with her wife Tamara Shaw.

The second paternal half-sister is named Laci and she was born in circa 1987. She is a daughter of Monasterio and his former girlfriend Charlene Smoot. Nothing is known about her, as she prefers to live a low-key life.

Speaking of Chastain’s personal life, she had been in a relationship with a director and screenwriter Ned Benson since 2006 till 2010. Apart from being a couple, they also worked together on several projects until they called it quits.

In 2017 the actress walked down to the altar with Gian Luca Passi de Prepoluso, who is an executive at a French fashion house Moncler. In addition, he holds the title of a count. They first met in 2012 and after five years of dating, the two love birds got engaged. In 2017 they had a beautiful wedding in Italy that was visited by many well-known people. Afterwards, they went to Zimbabwe, where they spent a honeymoon. Today, they are a loving couple and proud parents to two children.

The firstborn in a family is a daughter Giulietta, who drew her first breath in 2018. She was born by a surrogate mother. Both parents do their best to protect the kid from public attention.

In spring of 2020 the couple was noticed with two babies in California. They say, Jessica and Gian became parents for the second time. The child’s name and gender are not known yet.
