In today's world of social media echo-chambers and confirmation bias, it's all too easy to forget that there are always two sides to every discussion... and that we can generally become better people in trying to understand those who oppose us (even if we don't agree with them).

And when misinformation and propaganda is easily passed off as news... well, it makes things even harder to want to be interested in politics.
