The gang used celebrity brand ambassadors including Sonu Sood, Jaya Kishori, Hina Khan, and Karan Mehra through fake Global Book of Excellence Awards to lure students. They supplied forged High School, Intermediate, Graduation, BTech, LLB, BPharma, and even PhD degrees with marksheets delivered via home service. Fake websites, holograms, seals, and verification portals made documents appear genuine. This Kanpur education scam highlights how celebrities unknowingly boosted a massive fake degree fraud network running from Hyderabad.
